I've had hundreds of songs recorded by performers such as Anne Murray, Lee Greenwood, rising country star Chris Young, Canadian artists Adam Gregory, Lisa Brokop, Jaydee Bixby, Diane Chase…and many more, in Canada, Europe, Australia and Asia. My songs have been featured on TV shows like NCIS and Walker Texas Ranger and live on The Jay Leno Show and the Grand Ole Opry.

Song Critique - $50 *
This consists of me listening to an mp3 and reviewing the lyric of a song, after which I will offer an overall opinion, identify weak and strong points and make detailed suggestions toward reworking a promising song into a better one...lyric, melody, chords and structure will all be addressed. This information can be conveyed via e-mail, Skype or a combination of both, the Skype session lasting up to an hour. I will subsequently evaluate up to two rewritten drafts of the same song. The copyright remains with you; my involvement is strictly work-for-hire. You don't need to have a studio demo in order to get songs critiqued, a rough worktape is fine. After you purchase your critique, click here to email your song mp3 and lyric (include the lyric in the body of the email or attach as a Word document).

Three Hour Mentoring/Co-Writing Skype Session - $100 *
For a more in-depth experience I offer mentoring sessions. I will literally write a song with you, taking you through the exact process that has resulted in hundreds of songs being co-written in Nashville and Canada, many of which have been recorded. This will consist of up to three hours being spent building the song from the ground up, based on whatever germ of an idea we agree on between us, whether it's plucked out of the ether or is some embryonic idea that you've started. This will also include whatever e-mail followup might be needed to tweak the song to its full potential. Writing credit on the song that results from such a session will be shared equally between the two of us.

Or we can spend the time going over some of your existing songs and seeing where they need strengthening, discussing any aspect of the music business you're interested in, etc etc.
